"you had such vision of the street, as the street hardly understands" --T.S. Eliot--

mint
Have taken a sabbatical again, several days away from keyboard and touch screen doing the laundry and pondering over the usual whims. As with the norm, clutter accumulates and befuddles the consciousness and then an epiphany, points of random conversations that attract an assortment of personalities spring to mind. In the midst of chitchat, what makes one vacuous? What substantiate for quality? Is it the depth of words, the significance of trivia, the extent of knowledge, the stunning achievements, the admirable talents, the undeniable charm? I go for the kind, unassuming voice. A good heart and generosity of spirit not only pommel wealth or knowledge, but offers a more soothing relief from inner conundrums, I reckon.
