in the news: Mubarak relinquishes powers.
after 30 years, it's about time. politics is supposed to be about service to the people. it's not the accumulation of wealth and the subjugation of an entire nation. let's hope for a smooth transition in one of the most historical countries on earth.
i've also read about the suggestion of transferring the philippine capital from manila to other parts of the country. would this bode down well with the locals? it's a manila-centric society. but the overcrowding of a city should be addressed in earnest.
