reality void
if everybody exists in the reality tv universe, mine would never make the cut. is it the weather or what, but pushing myself in the mornings to go vertical is already quite a challenge. the reality tv of contrived drama -- annoying conflicts, flaunting a certain posh lifestyle or a vacuous, narcissistic existence is right now trending. having no talent is no longer a hindrance to fame or infamy. it's easy money for all involved - the cast, producers, crew. for the viewers, they sometimes fill the void of exciting entertainment, a soap that does not necessarily need actors. it's the Truman Show, only bigger, with each member of the cast, including Truman himself having a share of the profits. in this dog eat dog society, we have to earn our keep. there's no need to sell our souls but is the human race by nature greedy?
