i shouldn't have stayed up too late for the super bowl. the time difference from arizona wasn't justifiable. my next day plans vanished into oblivion. i have to admit that my daysleeper phase isn't over, not in a million lifetimes.
the last minute heroics by the youngest manning brother was an absolute marvel for the giant fans and the anti-brady's. i have nothing against the good looking patriots quarterback. but the glory-hunter side of me cheer for the mannings more. it's a throwback from my years of rooting for peyton to nail that much coveted ring.
i didn't know an upset could be this exciting.

I saw the whole thing. it was my first official super bowl where i'm not at work or working on something i got from the ikea. i was cheering for the underdog. i've always liked eli because he's been taunted as the lesser manning and he was being unfairly compared to brady by pats fans at tmz by virtue of girlfriends and stetson commercials. in all honesty, i was a little starstruck though one duty night when i realized bundchen's boytoy was just a couple of blocks away from my 8th floor window at gudelsky i could see the lights and actually hear the roar emanating from the ravens stadium the night the patriots brought out the mighty ravens of yore (who btw were the former colts before the unceremoniously hauled out of charm city one winter night by corporate pigs). anyway ray lewis& co. lost anyway and i just kept dumping urine that night.
anyway, glad the red-haired kid as opposed to the golden child won. things are alright in the universe.
