This year goes really quickly, it’s now end of December. Nothing much has happened this year, my Essay got graded. It was fine under the circumstances. Oh yes, I got Bell’s Palsy in August. I looked really disfigured. We were on a holiday in Nice and I had no smile in the beach in Antibes. I had to stretch the left side of my face. I now understand what steroids are like, the side effects are debilitating. I had to be off work for more than a month, although half was annual leave. Work was so stressful that it made me disfigured.
But then I was introduced to Autumn Concerto, it was the result of watching the F4 reunited in July and I got curious about Vaness Wu. It made waiting in A and E tolerable. I was in tears, waiting for hours, eager to join the Pain Study Day, but I got wifi on my phone and I got hooked I totally love this Taiwanese drama. Set in 2009, the phones look dated but the feels are timeless. Months later, I still watch it again and again. There are dramas that we like and we keep on watching and this is it. It is just like a loop. When I don’t feel like watching anything else, I view this drama.
My child is getting older, more independent now. She reads books, I totally adore those friends from school who were the catalyst to her reading. Read more, do Maths and Science and be happy.
