walk in the thaw
a photograph.
taken
in the snow.
sometimes during the advent of summer, i reminisce through the pictures with the flaky backdrops. how after a day, the flakes melt and become so slippery, navigating from one point to the next becomes arduous. but it's ever so picturesque on Instagram. one example are pictures of clint dempsey and AVB celebrating after the equalising goal on fergie time. or just imagine our sweet baby girl lying on the flakes wearing her coat courtesy of tita julie t.
and then the icy drizzles made me ruminate on some skills i don't have like baking, arts and craft, reading flutters, enunciating perfectly and a lot more. sleeping the morning away is never a good idea, despite the late night, there are skills to learn.

antiphon
no, i'm not a fan.
although this piece may convey a form of irony.
it's just the hollywood machine, selina kyle could have been played by a far less anorexic actress.
emma morley by someone who can pull an authentic Yorkshire accent.
for fantine, i'd go for joanna ampil.

it's dark knight
was it a good idea to have watched this prolonged saga of a comic book super hero during the countdown to new year's?
no. any other time would have been perfect timing.
was it any good?
a Batman with too much angst. a teeny weeny Selina Kyle. a luminous Marion Cotillard. Bane, doesn't resemble Bane of the comic books.
it's way too long.
and Emma Stone, yes.
Anne Hathaway is Fantine. i'll explain.
